VisumPlus Schengen health insurance meets requirements of applications for Schengen visa. The maximum benefit per contract and insured person is limited to 50,000 €. Insurance coverage is valid for acutely necessary in-patient and outpatient medical treatment (medical emergency treatment), treatment of complications with pregnancy, painkilling dental treatment, medical transports, return transport and repatriation to your home country.
This health insurance policy can be submitted to consulats and embassies for applications of Schengen visa. The maximum period of stay in Europe is limited to 1 year. Please chose additional travel insurances automatically offered during the booking process: accident insurance, liability insurance and luggage insurance for Schengen.
All policies show a written confirmation of the required minimum insured sum of 30,000 €.
We will update your insurance policy in case your Schengen visa is allowed for a different period of stay in Europe than applied for. In case of visa refusal the insurance premium paid will be refunded to you.
